I am looking for a weight loss plan to follow can you help in any way? I have done some research but there is so many out there. I'm stuggling with losing weight and am looking for the medical weight loss diet? Please help. After looking around, I learned — The original "Medical Weight Loss Diet" was basically a medium carbohydrates diet that allowed about 60 carb per day. The key to the diet was the boredom. It named for the same food pretty much everyday. This also made the rounds as "The Air Force Diet" Breakfast Everyday: 2 eggs, 2 pieces of sausage or 2 slices of bacon, 1 slice toast. Lunch Everyday: As much lean meat as you want(chicken, lean beef, eggs, lean pork) 1 cup of mixed salad greens mayonnaise for salad dressing. Sunday: Brunch-All the fruit you can eat at 1 sitting.(Instead of breakfast and lunch. ) Snack Everyday: 1 small tomato or 1 small orange Free Foods: Iceberg lettuce, celery, mayo, boiled eggs, coffee, tea, sugar-free bottled water. No No Foods: Anything not listed including ketchup, salad dressing, non-dairy creamers, sugar, bread other than as listed. Dinner: Monday-As much lean chicken as you want, as much salad as you want, mayonnaise for dressing. Tuesday-As much lean pork as you want, as much salad as you want, mayonnaise for dressing. Which would you choose and why. Well, I have your answer. Diet plan and exercise, without a doubt. Here's why: Diet pills are unnatural, they are chemicals made in a lab. If there is a natural alturnative (eating right and exercising), that's always preferred. Although you'll typically see results from diet pills faster, they can become addictive and have side effects. When was the last time you heard of someone having unhealthy side effects from exercising or eating salads (okay, save for the recent e. Coli problems, but that's an issue of contamination, not a side effect from the actual vegitables)? Plus, wouldn't you feel better knowing that you're losing the weight and getting in shape as a result of your own efforts and discipline rather than just popping a pill? People rely too much on instant gratification these days and don't think of the long term effects. Fix it pills are only temporary fixes and usually cost us in the long run. Although it will take longer and require more effort on your part, I strongly suggest dieting (properly and in a health-conscious way, don't starve yourself) and exercise. Pills are bad, 'em kay?
